Junior Golf Camp FAQ

Junior Golf Camp FAQ

Are there any special clothes or equipment that I need to purchase?

It is recommended campers bring their own clubs if they have them. We can store their clubs for the week as well. But if not, Halfway House has junior clubs available to use for FREE. Lastly, comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended.

What is your cancellation and transfer policy?

Campers who wish to cancel 7 days or more prior to the camp start date will be issued a full refund. Campers who cancel within 7 days will be charged a $50 reservation fee.

Campers may transfer to another camp week without penalty if the request is made 7 days or more prior to camp start date. Transfer requests made within 7 days of camp start date will be charged a $50 transfer fee.

Is there a maximum number of kids per camp?

The maximum number of kids we will allow per camp is 15. We also have a minimum number of 4.

Halfway House reserves the right to cancel a class as a result of insufficient registration. In this case, an alternative session may be selected or a full refund will be provided.

What if my child has never golfed?

No problem. We are excited to introduce the great game of golf to a new generation and can work with kids of all skill levels. Our camp has been designed to make the introduction to the game relaxed, non-intimidating, and most of all, fun.

How can I be assured that my child will be safe and supervised?

Your child’s safety is our first priority. Strict safety rules will be enforced by our instructors. Anyone who intentionally violates the safety rules and endangers others will be immediately removed from activities.

What golf skills will my child work on?

Each day, campers will work on golf fundamentals that benefit all golfers, such golf stance, posture, and grip. We will also focus on more advanced concepts, like swing speed, swing path, and strike location (heel/toe). And we’ll incorporate all of these lessons into their driving, chipping, and putting on full virtual courses.

How much golf will my child be playing?

While other sports will be available to mix it up, campers can expect to spend at least half of each camp day golfing.

What if my child gets sick and misses some camp days?

Campers will be allowed to switch dates if the camper is sick and unable to attend.
